The Partners work as a general partnership.
The Practice Manager and the Receptionists
The surgery employs the following team:-
The practice manager - Mrs T Briggs
The secretary - Mrs V Boynton
The office manager - Miss T Duncan
Seven part-time receptionists, a Prescription Clerk and a Data Input Clerk
They are here to welcome and help you with all administrative and non-medical matters. All staff are bound by the same rules of confidentiality as the doctors.
The Practice Nurses
We have three nurses:
Miss Stella Oliver RGN
Mrs Pam Mongan RGN
Mrs Sue Butterly RGN
The nurses provide general nursing care and health promotion advice. They can discuss your general health, diet, smoking and alcohol intake. They will advise on and give immunisations, both for foreign travel and as
routine measures. They advise on and do check-ups for patients with diabetes, chronic heart disease, hypertension and asthma and also take cervical smears. You can see them for dressings, removal of stitches and ear
syringing (on GP advice).
When booking your appointment with the nurse, the receptionist will need to know what the appointment is for in order to allocate a suitable amount of time.
